IntraLATA long distance or toll, sometimes known as regional toll,
includes all calls customers make within their LATA, which is simply
a predetermined geographic region. Lackawaxen has a variety of calling
plans for customers who make calls within its LATA, and specifically,
additional discounts for calls within a 0-16 mile radius from Lackawaxen’s
telephone office. This 16-mile rate band covers calls from the 685
exchange to: Hawley, Honesdale, Lords Valley, Wallenpaupack, and Beach
Lake. To make sure you save money when calling within the state, please
review your calling habits and select a plan that will benefit you
most.
Our two most popular IntraLATA calling plans are:
Regional Economy
- Residential — 10 cents per minute for all IntraLATA calls
- Business — 10 cents per minute for all IntraLATA calls
Regional Economy Plus
- Residential — 8 cents per minute for calls in the 0-16
mile rate band; 15 cents per minute for all other IntraLATA calls
- Business — 8 cents per minute for calls in the 0-16 mile
rate band; 15 cents per minute for all other IntraLATA calls
